Trials for Pregnant Women
Research Focused on Women at Every Stage of Life
Women’s health deserves research that reflects the full range of women’s experiences, conditions, backgrounds, and life stages.
AZ Women’s Research is dedicated to advancing clinical trials across women’s health, including gynecology, pregnancy, menopause, preventive care, chronic conditions, and emerging therapies that may improve outcomes for future generations.
Why Clinical Trials Matter
Clinical trials help researchers evaluate new medications, treatments, devices, and approaches to care before they become widely available. For women, participation in research is especially important because women have historically been underrepresented in medical studies, creating gaps in care, treatment knowledge, and health outcomes.
By participating in a clinical trial, you may gain access to study-related care, contribute to medical progress, and help ensure future treatments are developed with women in mind.
Our Commitment
- Patient-Centered Research: We guide participants through each step of the research process with compassion, transparency, and respect.
- Inclusive Access: We are committed to helping women from diverse backgrounds learn about and participate in clinical research opportunities.
- Innovation in Women’s Health: Our work supports the development of new therapies and evidence-based solutions for conditions that impact women’s health and quality of life.
- Safety & Oversight: Clinical trials are carefully reviewed and monitored to help protect participant safety, privacy, and rights.

Mission Statement
At Arizona Women’s Research, our mission is to advance the future of women’s healthcare through innovative, patient-centered clinical research. We are committed to expanding access to groundbreaking therapies, improving health outcomes, and ensuring women are represented at every stage of medical discovery. Through scientific excellence, inclusive research practices, and compassionate care, we strive to close the women’s health gap and bring meaningful progress to the women and communities we serve.
Helping Close the Women's Health Gap
When women are included in research, healthcare becomes more informed, more equitable, and more effective. AZ Women’s Research exists to help close the women’s health gap by expanding access to clinical trials and ensuring women are represented in the development of tomorrow’s treatments.
Advancing women’s health requires clinical research that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve. We are committed to inclusive recruitment and community outreach that help remove the barriers that have historically limited participation in clinical trials. By building a team that mirrors our patient population and ensuring access regardless of background, location, or insurance status, we strive to make meaningful medical progress possible for all women.
