Dr. Melissa Austin, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist dedicated to advancing women’s healthcare through compassionate, evidence-based medicine and comprehensive patient-centered care. As a physician leader at North Valley Women’s Care and Advanced Women’s Care, Dr. Austin is recognized for her expertise in both routine gynecologic care and the management of complex, high-risk pregnancies.

Dr. Austin earned her medical degree from University of Arizona College of Medicine before completing her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, one of Arizona’s leading teaching hospitals. She later achieved board certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Her clinical expertise includes high-risk obstetrics, multiple gestations, preeclampsia, diabetes in pregnancy, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and robotic-assisted procedures utilizing the da Vinci® surgical system. Dr. Austin also provides comprehensive women’s healthcare services ranging from preventive screenings and diagnostic testing to treatment for complex gynecologic conditions, including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Known for her thoughtful and collaborative approach to care, Dr. Austin is passionate about improving women’s health outcomes and creating a supportive healthcare experience for every patient. Through her work with Arizona Women’s Research, she supports advancing clinical research and expanding access to innovative therapies and evidence-based treatments for women across Arizona.
